We service all makes and models — domestic, import, hybrid and diesel — in our 12-bay shop. Our ASE and AAA-certified technicians are authorized to perform new-vehicle warranty maintenance, so choosing us over the dealer doesn't cost you your warranty coverage.

John Esses, Owner & Operator
Owner and operator John Esses opened Laguna Viejo Auto Service in 1994. An ASE Master Technician, L1 Advanced Technician and California-certified Smog Technician, he brings more than 36 years of experience in the automotive industry, with numerous awards and accolades along the way.
A hands-on owner, John makes sure every client — and every vehicle — is treated right and fixed right the first time. He and his family continue to run Laguna Viejo Auto Service together, and are always here to help.

Our 12-bay shop is equipped with advanced diagnostic and testing equipment designed for German, Asian, and domestic vehicles. Our equipment includes professional scan tools, smog and electrical testers, a smoke machine, a Zeus diagnostic scanner, Snap-on equipment, and a state of the art John Bean wheel alignment system.
